This morning I planned to sleep. I wanted to catch up from such a busy week and not wake up until James Martin had started cooking. Unfortunately Rasputin had other ideas.

After cleaning the bathrooms I sat down to a plentiful breakfast cooked by Mr T; scrambled tofu, seeded toast, beans and garlic mushrooms. Lovely.

Last night we settled down to watch a friend appear on Come Dine With Me and ordered from one of our favourite pizza places; Pizzaface. They have recently added a new vegan special on the menu- The Bill Clinton! Vegan pepperoni, red onion, mixed peppers and vegan cheese. Scattered with torn rosemary, this pizza was delicious. Brilliant to see an entirely vegan pizza on the menu! We also ordered a Funghi; sautéed mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms and oyster mushrooms topped with garlic, parmesan and truffle oil. Veganised and humming of garlic, this simple pizza was perfect.

Finally, a few people have asked to see the dress which I wore to a friends wedding last weekend. Here are some photographs; I bought this dress at a vintage fair that used to be held in a hall in Kingston, but which I think no longer exists. They had such wonderful finds, and this dress has been a favourite in my wardrobe ever since. Mr T helped me to choose this dress during a mild panic over what to wear, and I think it was a perfect choice. The cut is classic but flattering and the quality of the fabric makes it just smart enough, whilst having playful polka dots to lighten the mood. Teamed with a belt to draw in the waist and a pair of black wedges.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend filled with plans, but enough room for relaxation!

That pizza looks awesome, definitely going to try it next time I’m in Brighton (we have a yearly trip!)

Was the vegan dude on Come Dine With Me your friend?

I recommend Pizzaface, it’s so nice to be able to order a vegan pizza and have it delivered! Yeah the vegan guy is a friend, and that was my cheezly straw recipe haha!

Thanks for the great review !
We are planning to provide a wider vegan choice two days a week. This would include 4 or 5 vegan pizzas, some vegan sides and a vegan dessert. By doing it on only two days a week it means we can have a much wider choice of vegan options, it keeps our ingredients fresh and allows to attract trade on what would usually be our quieter days. Our normal vegan options would of course be available throughout the week. We were thinking of doing this on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Do you think this is something the vegan population would be interested in?
