Pizza Fridays

I have the lovely Rach to thank for this brilliant idea! When we bumped into her on the train to London, and spent the entire 50 minutes discussing food, the topic of Pizza Fridays came up (genius idea!). She passed on a top tip for saving time on the pizza base – by using square (ish) wraps from Warburtons! These were so quick and tasty – I topped ours with pizza sauce made from Pizza Express passatta sauce, heated through with fresh basil, a teaspoon of sugar, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Then I scattered chopped pepper, mushroom, onion, olive and chorizo, grated cheeze and then a drizzle of olive oil, sprinkling of salt and pepper, a few torn pieces of fresh basil and a little oregano. Bake at the top of a hot oven (around 200c) for 10-15 minutes, keeping a close eye on it so that the edges don’t get too crispy, and serve with fresh salad. Delicious! Thanks, Rach!

    Such a good idea and mega speeds up the pizza process which has to be a good thing, yum!

    Those look fantastic! I’m going to make them with my youth club young people but using wholemeal tortillas!

    I had a tortilla pizza at a local restaurant. It was yummy and didn’t make me feel so full I’d pop!

    They aren’t vegan though, are they? I bought them once by mistake but they’ve got E920 in.
