Sweet Sickness

This is my sad, sick face. I had a few plans for today but unfortunately I was up all night being ill. Rubbish! And I had my phone taken. Double rubbish! So today I have mostly moped around in my jim-jams wishing I could be drinking coffee but instead have been sipping water. Around 1ish the rain had finally stopped so I decided to freshen up and get dressed. The shower helped but I was still feeling nauseous, but I needed to go to Three to try and sort my phone situation out. They were no help, other than giving me a telephone number, so I went to Infinity Foods and bought a few things for the week, including my favourite smoked tofu which I love to use in wraps and with salads. I also picked up some of these crackers – I’m a sucker for cute, rustic packaging!

I love the perforated middle! The only downside is that the crackers are divided into sets of four in plastic wrapping, so there is a great deal of waste – but I suppose this will be handy for taking them to work!

I topped these with some spiced houmous that I bought from M&S, sliced gherkin and a couple of bits of veg that I had leftover from a stirfry. I washed it down with some cloudy apple juice, yum!

When I was in town I popped into Holland and Barrett, and was so happy to see Trek bars reduced to £1 each!! I went a little mad, although I can see me returning shortly to take advantage of this brilliant price!

I also picked up a bag of dates so that I can make some more peanut butter balls.

I also picked up a few treats, including some fizzy sweets from Good Stuff:

Some Nakd bars, and some Pulsin bars after Nicky reminded me how good they are!

This afternoon I’m going to give Three a call and then I think I’ll take a nap. I’m so tired already! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend, even though it’s been raining bucketloads!

Oh no you silly thing!! They must be fairly simple to make though, just without the rice pops? I reckon a chocolatey, datey, cashew nuttey mixture all ground up and pressed?
Glad I picked the right one, looking forward to trying it!

Sorry to hear you’ve been poorly! That sucks :-( at least a shopping trip to infinity would have cheered you up! I want some of those trek bars now :-)
