Belly to the moonlight just to cool down their heart

As promised, here are a few photographs of the things that I bought at the weekend! I’m a sucker for sales, especially the Zara sale, and am now a huge fan of the Urban Outfitter’s sale, too!

I am kind of in love with this dress. It is really adaptable for day to night wear, and could be worn with sandals in the summer, or dressed up with tights and black wedges for the evening. It’s fairly casual, but the structure in the shoulders gives it a bit of a fancier touch, and I love the rolled edges of the sleeves.

And here’s one of Rasputin looking less than impressed, haha!

See by Chloe, Urban Outfitters, £40 – reduced from £150

Next up is a super cute playsuit! I was slightly confused in the changing rooms as I initially thought this was a dress, and tried to put it over my head but it wouldn’t fit. I had picked up a medium – the only size left – how did it not fit! And then I realised that inside were shorts, and I was trying to fit my head and shoulders into, essentially, a trouser leg. Panic over! I put it on properly, and even though it is quite big I fell a little bit in love, and with a belt it should be ok. You can see Ras’ cheeky tale making an appearance in these photographs too, brucey bonus!

Urban Outfitters, £15 – reduced from £55

I stocked up on a few basics – things that I can wear throughout the year, either on their own or layered under shirts and cardies for when it’s a bit chillier (like July, apparantly).

New Look, £7.99

I love this t shirt! It’s dipped quite low at the back, which gives it a great little extra detail.

Zara, £9.99 – reduced from… I can’t remember…!

I also picked up a simple, black vest top – this wasn’t in the sale, but they come in so useful that I couldn’t resist.

Zara, £7.99

I popped into Holland and Barrett to stock up on some essentials; roasted chickpeas and chocolate covered rice cakes! The rice cakes were reduced too, even better!

Next stop was Aldi! I bought some cherries and strawberries, and a box of pecan and maple granola – all were very delicious, and came to just over £3! Bargain!

So those are my splashing-out-purchases for the weekend! Did you guys buy anything fun in the sales?

Love love love that dress and playsuit! I saw that playsuit and thought it was lovely but I think playsuits for me as a old lady now ;-) probably don’t work sadly :-( Oh and yey for Aldi!

That dress is so lovely! My dad is a bit of an Aldi addict (he loves returning home triumphantly clutching bargain fruit) and we ALWAYS have a box of that granola in the house. Be warned, it is very very addictive!

It’s so delicious! Even Trout agreed this morning. Bit too sweet for a whole bowl, but I love it sprinkled on top of yoghurt and mixed with fruit!
