My weekend, according to the photos on my phone:

1. The lovely people at Popchips kindly left us a present at work – a basket full of popchips! It was perfect timing as we were having an Olympics themed party, including a buffet, so everyone got to tuck in and enjoy them!
2. Enjoying a packet of Popchips with lunch on Saturday, with the new H&M catalogue
3. The salad which the catering company kindly made me for the party – amazing houmous, roasted veg and salad leaves.
4. Carbonara made by Trout – yum! With some garlic bread
5. Ras playing ninja in a box (!!!) – you can’t really see very clearly in this picture, but we were cracking up at his eyes peeking out of the box!
6. Going to see the latest exhibition at Fabrica
7. Takeaway from Hove Tandoori on Saturday night – so delicious!
8. Sunday afternoon beers in the sunshine
9. Hitting the beach
10. Stoning Trout & 11. Beach Feet & 12. Beautiful Sea
13. Stunning sunshine walking home from the park
14. Beer and cherries on the beach ♥

This weekend was a bit all over the place; good & bad & smiles & warmth. At work on Friday we had an Olympics themed-day, including some office-based ‘olympic’ games, a competition for the best dressed (which I WON!) and a buffet for us all. They ordered a special salad for me, and I could also eat onion bajhis, samosas and spring rolls! On Friday evening Trout and I went for a drink with a couple of friends, and then came home and he made an amazing carbonara (one of his favourite meals). On Saturday I had my final training day, came home and cleaned the kitchen, watched some TV and then me and Trout ordered our favourite takeaway; from Hove Tandoori. Everything tastes so fresh and smoky, it’s just amazingly delicious.
On Sunday I planned to spend most of the day in my jim jams, which I succeeded in – until around midday, when I got showered and dressed and did a couple of loads of laundry and then went off to enjoy the sunshine. I walked around town for a bit, and popped in to see the latest exhibition at Fabrica, which was really nice. When I was walking back to the flat (armed with chocolate rice cakes, a jar of our favourite peanut butter and a plan to enjoy them on the sofa) Trout called me and we decided to go for a drink in the sunshine. Which led to meeting a friend and drinking beers on the beach, which led to another beer at another pub, which led to going to Queens Park and playing on the swings which led to Trout twisting his ankle! Poor thing. But all in all I spent some much-needed time with Trout, having lots of fun, and eating good food. Can’t complain too much, really!

I hope that everyone has enjoyed their weekend and (possibly?) the beginning of summer! What have you got planned for this week?

I have heard alot about Popchips – I must try! The idea of spending a day in my jim jams is heaven – at least you made it to midday though, eh?! I hope Trouts ankle recovers soon! x

What a beautiful weekend – I do always enjoy your photography. Planing to get a SLR for christmas and probably taking a class. But this stuff is so damn expensive…

Anyways – Ninja-Ras? – so cool! Any tips how I can train my kitty to do this ;) ? Would nicely match my blog theme.

      Thanks darling :)
These are actually just taken with my blackberry, though!
Just give your kitty a box and he’ll know what to do!
