WIAW – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Some Snacks, Some Fitness – and Rasputin!
Happy WIAW! I hope that everyone is enjoying their week, and the sunshine (!!!). Thanks to Jenn for hosting my favourite food party! This week I’ve had some fun meals, including a trip to Wai Kika Moo Kau yesterday, and plenty of delicious food over the weekend. Here are some of my favourite meals from the past few days –
Breakfast
I’m really into combining my cereals at the moment! This morning I tossed together some Very Berry Muesli, with some pecan and maple granola (both from Aldi) with some fresh strawberries and a blob of peanut butter.
I enjoyed this bowl with a mug of coffee and a glass of apple, strawberry and lychee juice – delicious, and oh so refreshing.
Lunch
I’ve really been enjoying eating bread at the moment! Especially when it’s packed with seeds and grains, like this. I toasted the bread and smothered it in Vitalite and marmite, before stuffing it with salad and gherkin, and some Vegusto cheese.
Dinner
Sometimes you just really need a simple dinner, which is exactly what this was – salad dressed in balsamic, roasted squash, couscous, houmous, pitta bread and gherkins.
In terms of snacks I’ve been enjoying Popchips, plenty of chocolate covered rice cakes topped with peanut butter, braeburn apples, clementines and banana chips! And, as always, been throwing in a few workout DVDs for good measure,
And of course, no WIAW would be complete without a photograph of Rasputin! I think he might be hungry in this picture…
Happy Wednesday! Half way through the week and the weekend is rapidly approaching! I hope everyone’s enjoying the sunshine, plenty of delicious food and the odd bout of fitness fun!
That dinner looks so good, love stuff like that!
It was yummmm!
Your lunch looks AMAZING!
Thankyou! I love Vegusto <3
I love your food!
Thankyou :)
Vegusto makes the No Muh Cheeses, right?
Yes! They are a little pricier than other vegan cheeses, but absolutely amazing, and so similiar to the real thing!
Probably because it’s made in Switzerland – they are quite famous for their cheese. It’s actually the only vegan cheese I can stand so far.
I don’t mind others like Sheese and Cheezly when they are grated/ cooked – but Vegusto I can eat in a sarnie and it’s delish!
Your dinner looks delicious. Thank you for sharing :)
Thankyou! I love simple salad dinners sometimes :)
Couldn’t agree with you more. They make for the perfect meals!
