This week I have learnt that…

October 8, 2012

… lunch is rapidly becoming my favourite meal of the day. Coming home, cuddling with Rasputin, and rustling up open sandwiches which contain half the contents of my fridge. Bliss.

(oh, and it totally doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that Channel 4 show episode after episode of Come Dine With Me at exactly the same time that I take my lunchbreak. Nope)

… I can make an iced vanilla soya latte at home, and it’s just as delicious as the (almost) £5 drink that Starbucks offers.

… the word bangs does not refer to a wig or hair extensions, but to a fringe. How did it take me 27 years to discover this?

… I am absolutely in love with this editorial, discovered on Honestly WTF’s blog:

… spending the weekend with kiddies is a pretty fun way to spend your weekend.

… you should always try to be positive.

… I really should visit these two cuties more often – their faces when I walked through the door at the weekend were incredible!

What have you learnt this week? Did you know what bangs meant?

My mom made me get bangs every time I got a hair cut but I didn’t know the word “fringe” meant that until quite recently.
