Lazy, hazy, pool of light

October 10, 2012

Last night was one of those brilliantly lazy evenings where we made pizzas, opened a bottle of wine and sat on the sofa watching telly. Curled up with a blanket, Ras came and joined us while we sipped our wine with only our lamp for a pool of light.

We bought the pizza bases from Waitrose, and topped them with Daiya. One pizza has salami*, sausage*, mushroom and onion, and the second has red pepper, onion and mushroom. Both pizzas have sliced garlic on the base, and are scattered with freshly torn basil. Yum!

We did intend to make it from scratch! But then Trout found the bases in Waitrose and couldn’t resist!
