Day Eleven – Christmas Traditions

December 11, 2012

Our Christmas’ are ever-changing at the moment – as we grow older, have moved to different cities, as our family changes we seem to have a different kind of Christmas every year, so traditions are hard to form. I’m slowly learning Trout’s family traditions, although I’m not sure that I agree with the being-up-and-dressed-before-presents (madness!) but I love their party teas! That might be one of my favourite Christmas traditions – Trout’s Mum does a cracking Christmas Day evening/Boxing Day party spread. I love sipping on bucks fizz at my family’s house while we wait for everyone to wake up. One of my favourite traditions when I was younger was arriving at my Grandparents and looking at their hundreds of Christmas cards, trying to find any duplicates. It sounds stupid, but it was always one of the funnest things to do at Christmas!

Up and dressed before presents? That is madness!
