Wednesday Wishes – Valentine’s Day Special!

February 6, 2013

WW

For Valentine’s Day Trout and I usually keep things fairly low-key; we’ll open a bottle of something fizzy and maybe order a pizza or make a special dinner. Valentine’s Day is pretty much my favourite pointless day of the year – there are heart-shaped things everywhere and I love love.

I thought I would combine two of my loves this week; my love of finding independent, talented crafters, designers and makers – and Valentine’s Day. You might remember last year, when I did a round-up of gift ideas – this is kind of similar. I hope it inspires you to make or buy something thoughtful for your true love. For some more inspiring images check out my love-themed Pinterest board.

Here’s a homemade YouTube video valentine (made by an 8-year-old suffering her first crush) to share.
