Welcome! Thank you to everyone that has ever read my blog, shared my words, felt connected with them and saw the world in a different way because of them. Your time here keeps me writing, and here is why I keep this little blog going. I might not update as much as I used to, but I think of this space daily.
I have a need to write. I’ve been blogging for 10 years, across more platforms than I can remember how to use, and under more names than I care to remember. paperbagblog has been around for half of those years, and is a space to share my travels, love of vegan food and an eternal search for the perfect soya flat white.
I have a habit of moving. Throughout my life I’ve moved from county to city to town and back again. And along the way I’ve picked up a need to travel from country to continent to city. It should be noted that I hate packing.
I love to share the things that I love. I believe that whatever age you are, young or old (at heart or on your birth certificate), you should believe in yourself and try to understand who you are. Find the things that you love, and do them. Do more of them. Understand why you love them, and find other things like that. Show someone else and they might love them, too.
Finally, I believe that no matter how delicious a plate of food is, or how beautiful a piece of clothing is, no animal, adult or child should have to suffer to provide it for me. It’s as simple as that.
